			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Every now and then the opportunity to show your true colours comes along. During the Amsterdam Dance Event, the mb! Lounge by Mercedes was one of this year&#8217;s additions, a location that directly caught the attention of the ADE crowd and provided us with the opportunity to collaborate with Mercedes and do something special.</strong></p>
<p>&#8216;Something special&#8217; became another 24 hour challenge for our team, one day to organize an epic Friday afternoon rave. As we are big fans of the guys, it was obvious that Modeselektor was the headliner of choice. As the duo is known not to shy away from a surprise party, they instantly committed themselves to the cause. A few phone calls later we had lined up Cinnaman, Brutuzz, and Nuno dos Santos to join the Germans behind the proverbial wheels of steel, and then all there was left to do was promoting the gig like there&#8217;s no tomorrow, figuratively speaking of course.</p>
<p>Because, contradicting apparent Ronan Keating believes, tomorrow did come. And it came in victory as dozens of clubbers queued up in front of the OceanDiva before we even opened the doors! Amazing line-up, free party, free drinks, first come, first serve, go figure… The place was packed with 700 people within the hour, and when Modeslektor dropped the first beats, it was on until Brutuzz faded out the last tune around 23:00.</p>

On the backside we decided to show Jiggy Djé, one of Dutch hip hop&#8217;s frontmen, as the title page of the Buma Rotterdam Beats special.</strong></p>
<p>For the front cover, we asked one of DJB&#8217;s favourite graphic designers Supersilo to freestyle us on of his signature futuristic illustrations. And he definitely delivered as expected. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>It’s a bee! It’s a smiley! It’s Borussia Dortmund’s home kit! Nope, none of the above; it’s the <a href="http://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/" target="_blank">Amsterdam Dance Event</a>, and it’s getting very close now. At BPM’s headquarters, it’s been all about the yellow and black event for several months already, as our sales department was on the phone with hundreds of organizations in the acquisition phase (closing deals with brands like <a href="http://www.mercedes-benz.nl/content/netherlands/mpc/mpc_netherlands_website/nl/home_mpc/passengercars.flash.html" target="_blank">Mercedes</a>, <a href="http://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/news/all/htc-head-sponsor-for-this-year-s-ade-music-and-bits" target="_blank">HTC</a>, <a href="http://www.beatport.com/" target="_blank">Beatport</a>, <a href="http://www.smirnoff.com/">Smirnoff</a>, <a href="http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/">Native Instruments</a>, <a href="http://www.warnermusic.nl/">Warner Music</a>, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/ticketscript" target="_blank">Ticketscript</a>, <a href="http://www.novationmusic.com/" target="_blank">Novation</a>, <a href="http://www.vodafonefirestarters.nl/">Vodafone</a>, and <a href="http://www.fatboy.nl/">Fatboy</a>), and the project team got busy setting up the activations that will take place during the event. The editorial team took care of the content of the <a href="http://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/news">ADE blog</a>.</strong></p>
<p>The five days of madness start coming Wednesday, and our team is ready to make it the best ADE edition so far. Let us break down our ADE activities for you:</p>
<p>From Wednesday until Saturday, BPM produces a live radioshow between 21:00 and 23:00 on <a href="http://decibel.nl/">Decibel FM</a>, coming from the <a href="http://www.redbullstudio.com/">Red Bull Studio</a> at <a href="http://www.muzyq.com/">muzyQ</a>, which is currently under construction and will officially be opened on Monday October 31<sup>st</sup>. The shows contain interviews and dj-sets by a cross-section of the ADE line-up, featuring <a href="http://www.modeselektor.com/">Modeselektor</a>, <a href="http://lukeabbottmusic.blogspot.com/">Luke Abott</a>, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/3024world">Martyn</a>, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/midlanduk">Midland</a>, and many others. Presentation: <a href="http://www.jobdewit.nl/">Job de Wit</a> and <a href="http://djsandeman.wordpress.com/">Sander Kerkhof</a>.</p>
<p>Another Red Bull project is the <a href="http://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/news/all/red-bull-bpm-on-display-event">Red Bull BPM</a> On Display Press Event, for which BPM provided production and PR. This is where the international media are enabled to preview the brand new <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/nl/app/red-bull-bpm-play/id470536174?mt=8&amp;ls=1">Red Bull BPM DJ application</a> that will be available through the Apple App Store on November 30<sup>th</sup>.</p>
<p>Two new locations of this year’s day program include <a href="http://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/program/ade-playground-3">ADE Playground</a> and <a href="http://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/program/the-story-of-afrojack-nl" target="_blank">ADE University</a>. BPM was responsible for the concept development of this event expansion, which will increase the event’s visibility in the city.</p>
<p>Saturday may be the busiest day for our team. Before we hit the clubs for a few well-deserved beers, we will be active at Felix Meritis during <a href="http://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/ade-next">ADE Next</a>. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=firestarters&amp;w=31311077%40N02" target="_blank">Vodafone Firestarters</a> makes its debut on ADE, featuring <a href="http://www.bennyrodrigues.com/" target="_blank">Benny Rodrigues</a>, <a href="http://ronnykrieger.com/">Ronny Krieger</a>, <a href="http://www.myspace.com/sjammiethemoney">$jammie the Money</a>, <a href="http://www.myspace.com/405064239">Jason Alexander</a>, and various other high profile guests.</p>
<p>After Firestarters, it is time for a few panels curated and moderated by <a href="http://nl-nl.facebook.com/eric.vandenbogaard">Eric van den Bogaard</a> for BPM. We will be talking dj-sets with Derrick May, and the Prophet, discuss the relevancy of labels with Michel de Hey and others, and present the new generation of dance professionals featuring Nicky Romero, Renvo, Bér Engels, and Dem Slackers.</p>
<p>Last but not least, as you know we also published the official <a href="http://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/news/all/the-ade-magazine-is-there" target="_blank">ADE magazine</a>. It was distributed throughout Holland, the UK, Belgium, and Germany.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Job de Wit is our new editor-in-chief of DJBroadcast magazine (online and print). He brings with him a wealth of experience in print and web journalism (3VOOR12, OOR, Dagblad de Pers, Nieuwe Revu, State Magazine, VPRO Gids, Blend, others) as well as broadcasting.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">For eleven years he hosted his own dance music show on national radio station 3FM. In 2008 he published his first book <em>Roxy en de houserevolutie</em>, a definitive account of the house music explosion in the Netherlands. As a DJ with a predilection for disco and house, he has played at Amsterdam clubs like Club Up, Melkweg and Bitterzoet, as well as the festivals 5 Days Off and Valtifest. Job has written about and loves practically any kind of pop music that is not extreme metal, and maintains three different playlists on the popular platform 22tracks. He is looking forward to pushing DJBroadcast to new levels of greatness, including the hosting of a new radio show/podcast.</p>

<p><strong>You may remember our adventurous DJB24 endeavor during the Off_Centre Festival 2010, where we produced a magazine </strong><strong>in one day. Well, we did it again; on July 14th 2011, our editorial team and a group of 60 talents and professionals invaded TrouwAmsterdam to produce DJB&#8217;s 50th issue.</strong></p>
<p>Yes, the 50th issue, who would have thought… Suffice to say this is a proper milestone in the history of our company. And after a hard day&#8217;s work we celebrated with 50 mini-sets by our dj friends in the Main Room, and special appearances by The Gaslamp Killer, DJ Promo, and Brutuzz in &#8216;De Verdieping&#8217; below.</p>

The secret recipe has never been changed. It holds infusions of selected ingredients including bitter and sweet oranges and many other herbs and roots in perfect proportions. In 1950, Spritz is added to the equation, making Aperol Spritz the ultimate summer mix.</strong></p>
<p>Blueprint Media was approached to revamp the Aperol awareness via <a href="http://www.facebook.com/#!/AperolSpritzNed" target="_blank">Facebook</a>. To increase the ‘likes’ we do regular competitions for Aperol home delivery services, set up special deals for Facebook friends at Aperol venues, and a Aperol Facebook like <a href="http://www.facebook.com/#!/AperolSpritzNed" target="_blank">ticket </a>was developed for the offline Aperol activations at the brand’s affiliated events.</p>

Now, the ‘herbal liqeur’ brand has decided to include dj’s in its music program, starting in the Netherlands, with Blueprint Media.</p>
<p>Five experienced dj’s in five different genres will be selected and supported in terms of promotion, business, and gigs. They will play at Jägermeister events and locations, and be part of Jägermeister content, brought to you via various media channels. The program will be launched in September. More info soon!</p>

<p><strong>MAYDAY, like the former Love Parade, is one of the oldest and most reputed electronic music festivals in Germany, having its debut in 1991. Despite the name, <a href="http://www.mayday.de/">MAYDAY festivals</a> date oscillates between 30 April and December (the latter are called Winter MAYDAY). After 2000, the Winter MAYDAY was organized in Katowice, Poland and in Saint Petersburg, Russia.</strong></p>
<p>On the 24th of September, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s15zDXwTXOk">&#8216;the mother of all raves&#8217;</a> organized its first Dutch edition in Eindhoven. BPM paved the way to the festival with content, and took care of the communication as well. During this process we gave fans of MAYDAY the chance to win their own private rave. One of the two areas in the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven was exclusively available for the winner and 100 friends. The only thing he or she had to do was to create a MAYDAY Facebook event and invite as many people as possible. The person with the most attendees won the private rave.</p>
